There were photos that never captured by anyone else in Asia. Photos with aliveness that captured people’s special life moments and they told stories to everyone who was present. Photos’ were in amazing backgrounds, in different counties with unique techniques and viewpoints, which unquestionably brought admiration of all viewers.
“Wedding Bliss” was a flamboyant event of glamour, initiative and profoundness. Gihan De Silva Photography launched 4D Photography for the first time in Sri Lanka. The event was at Cinnamon Grand Hotel, Colombo on 25th of August and it took a grand opening ceremony with Honorable MP. Namal Rajapaksha who garlanded the event with his presence. Also, the event was undoubtedly intriguing with special guest Dian Gomes, the Chairman of Gandhara/ Group Director of MAS Holdings and with many other distinctive personnel who were present at the event such as Jayantha Dharmadasa – Chairman of Nawaloka Group, Anura Hemachandra – Chairman of Vogue Jewellers, Chamari Jayaratne – Vice president of Jayaratne Funeral Directors, Taslim Rahaman – Director/CEO of Metropolitan, Mark Ferdinand – Marketing Manager for Debug Group, Edward Jayakody & Charitha Priyadarshani Pieris, Lalith Piyum Perera, Chairman of the National Youth Council, Chathurika Wijesinghe – senior lawyer & with many other distinguished guests.
The events purpose was to introduce 4D wedding Photography which is a novel aspect in Sri Lankan Photography. Wedding Bliss also carried out many photographs with excellence that illustrated extraordinary wedding photography captured from all over the world. The appreciated sponsorships were given by many prestigious companies such as Cannon – Metropolitan, Epson- Debug Group of companies, Gallery Red, Gandhara & OLGA Group of Companies.
Photographs of the exhibition of Gihan’s talents which was only beaten by his own originality gave a definite uniqueness to everyone’s wedding spectacle. The exhibition consisted of photographs which has captured many special moments of people, occasions around the world. Gihan’s photographic scope extends to countries starting from Sri Lanka, United States of America, India, Italy and Australia. Thus, the exhibition witnessed all of it with all the guests who were present at the event. The event went on till 26th of August for everyone and ended with an absolute grand success.
